About the Role:
Join Truffle Pig Winery as a Grill Cook and become a vital part of our culinary team in Temecula, CA. We are looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and are eager to create delicious high end chops and dishes that keep our customers coming back for more.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and grill a variety of wagyu meats, high end cuts, seafood, and vegetables, and to perfection.
- Ensure all food is cooked according to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while operating kitchen equipment.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and best practices.
- Stay updated on menu changes and special promotions to enhance customer experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Knowledge of grilling techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
- Passion for cooking and delivering exceptional food quality.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
